Pierce County Television (PCTV) creates and manages government access programming for the cities, towns and unincorporated areas of Pierce County, Washington. Our programming consists of gavel-to-gavel meeting coverage, original news and magazine shows and other locally produced programs.

PCTV is overseen by the Rainier Communications Commission (RCC), a cooperative of cities and towns in Pierce County and the County of Pierce. The RCC was formed to address telecommunications issues by an interlocal agreement in 1992.

All members are able to televise their council meetings, providing open and transparent government for their citizens. The meetings are also archived on our Web site.

The PCTV studios are located in building 11 on the campus of Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington.
Advancements in technology and internet video are helping us reach a bigger audience.
We shoot with Panasonic HD cameras and edit with Final Cut Studio.

We have a fully operational mobile production vehicle equipped with robotic cameras, graphics software and audio board.
This allows us to produce a program start to finish out in the field.
